Diarmuid presented the school with the Woodies DIY voucher on Monday June 11th 2007.The Competition Even more exciting is the opportunity for all participating schools to take part in a national competition to find the school that has worked the hardest to improve their school grounds as part of this event.The benefits Nothing could be better for the children than being out in the fresh air in autumn especially as they create a splash of colour for the following spring. This event brightens up areas around the schools who take part whether bulbs are planted in the ground or in tubs. MGA is delighted to be able to give the opportunity for all primary schools in Ireland to take part in the MGA* sponsored bulb-planting event – linked to a very special competition to improve the aesthetic quality of school grounds.
